So it was April 10th.. everyone was preparing for the comeback and getting ready to stream the LIFE out of BWL. I was scrolling through my timeline and found this:
I was like omgg they’re going to be on a really famous radio show that’s awesome. THEN the realization came to me..

On the 12th, I woke up that morning at 4:50am and the comeback was going to drop in ten mins. The music video dropped. It was amazing. It was legendary. WOW.
I went back to sleep and woke up at 7:00am and bts we’re going to be on at 8:00am. This gave me a lot of time to emotionally prepare myself for what was about to happen. It didn’t work though. I was still a mess.
I was really nervous about what Elvis Duran was going to say about bts. I listened in for a half hour and he was so kind and understanding of bts and their message! Loved that.
Anyways, I started calling Iheartradio at 7:50 AM to possibly call Elvis Duran and bts. They must’ve hung up on me SIX times in a ROW before I was actually able to answer. At this point it was almost 8 o’clock.
FINALLY a lady on the other line asked who I was and where I was from. Then asked me who I wanted to call so I told her and she was like “oohhh. Are you a big fan of bts?” my heart started POUNDING out of my CHEST and I said “YEeeESssSSS!!” like an excitied five year old
Then I was put on hold and I started FREAKING OUTTT. Like this shit was HAPPENING FR. I told my mom and she started freaking out too lmao.
All of a sudden, I heard Elvis Duran’s voice on my phone asking me how I was. I started panicking. My dumbass was just realizing that I was talking in front of an audience of 10 million people across the world...on air. HELP!!>£~_]{

Elvis Duran was really nice and I have no idea how tf he put up with me I was such a mess. He asked me what bts meant to me and how their message effected us

Elvis Duran was very touched by my words, despite stuttering and pausing and freaking out most of the time.
Then Elvis said bts we’re running late. BUTTT they just arrived and they were heading up. I WAS PISSINGGH MYSEPFFDK LIKE OMFGMGF. My mom told me to stfu. Elvis said bye to me and thanked me for loving myself. MY HEART FUCKING SHATTERED
I turned off my phone and started fuckinggg cryying. My mom left the room and I just stared at the wall.

“hey Emily were bringing BTS in as you’re on the phone with us. How cool is that?”
SO APPARENTLY I THOUGHT HE HUNG UP BUT I WAS JUST ON HOLD. ISTG I FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR AND ALMOST BROKE MY LEG.

I LITERALLY STARTED SOBBING AND I WAS JUST MAKING INDESCRIBABLE SOUNDS INTO THE PHONE LMAO. (Elvis muted me)
