As men we REALLY need to do better when talking about periods.
Whether it’s with your daughter, your partner or even a stranger, making someone feel ashamed and embarrassed about something that they have no control over and that they’ll have to deal with for most of their life is a really shitty thing to do.
You’ve gotta understand that you are so ridiculously lucky to not have to deal with that shit every month!
Also guys in committed relationships with women just like you should know her favourite drink and how she likes her coffee, you should know what tampons she uses and pick them up for her when she needs them.
It isn’t difficult to not be a dick.
