The New Ogden Actuarial Tables (Ogden 8) with multipliers for calculating future loss are available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/ogden-tables-actuarial-compensation-tables-for-injury-and-death
Multipliers in the new Ogden 8 have reduced rather than increased (as might have been expected), as previous projections of the rate of reduction in mortality have not been borne out.
For younger Cs, the approx. reduction in life expectancy between the Ogden 7 & 8 ... is about 1 year (men) & 2 years (women): a difference in overall predicted life expectancy of 1-2%. However, for older claimants, the difference can be as much as 8-9% (see intro for more detail)
Other new points in Ogden 8: the Ogden disability threshold changed to link it to the DDA 1995, rather than the Eq Act 2010. New guidance on when it might be appropriate to depart from Table A to D contingency reduction factors, & how to calculate the size of any such adjustment.
& if you have any feedback on the new Ogden 8, the Chair notes that the Working Party welcomes comments, as confirmed by @Tamar_Burton Asst Sec to the OWP. But be kind as they have clearly put a huge amount of work into complete revision of the guidance, not to mention the tables
