I think it is intellectually dishonest to make an argument that this PM & the admin doesn’t address accusations/instances of corruption.
No govt will ever be corruption free, cuz humans, the real question is how is it handled. https://twitter.com/abkafitzhenley/status/1284195978510245888

An argument can be made that perhaps you would prefer it handled differently (eg more speedily, complete ejection, etc.), but there is also the concern about due process and the rights of the accused.
Anyone can accuse anyone of anything, govt can’t react in a knee-jerk way..

to every accusation, nothing would ever be done.
But whenever anything comes to light, there are two options:
- Do something to allow investigations to be completed unimpeded
- Come out swinging with a full throated defense.
Good governance calls for #1.

We have seen many instances of that in the last 4 years.
I can’t recall seeing so many ministers punished in 1 term.
One can argue that it is because there are more instances of corruption.
Or that there are more instances of public accountability.

Based on track record of what is known in the public domain, it is very difficult to make an intellectually honest argument that the cause is the former, than the latter.
Note this also includes the Golding Admin with his infamous defense of the most wanted man.
