It took me 85 days to reach 3000 followers

Until recently I was struggling to grow

From June 12 through July 7, I averaged 17 new followers daily

From July 8 through July 16, I averaged 101 new followers daily

Let me show you what I did in

"17 to 101"

- THREAD -
1.

I started off June hot averaging 35 new followers daily (until June 12)

Soon after I fell off HARD

It was soul crushing

I'd have days where my I'd go back to my usual 35+

But it didn't last more than a couple days
2.

I figured

"Twitter has to be f*cking with me"

I let that bug me for a few days before looking into why this happened to me

But honestly I got complacent

I wrote half assed tweets

I had just hit 1000 followers and was riding the high
3.

I started to experiment in different ways

- Different tweet styles
- Multiple tweets per day (4-6+)
- Engaging with more people

It didn't work for me

(Engaging did)

I had to go back to my roots..
4.

Since July 8

I've been focused on posting 1-2 high quality tweets/threads daily

I've also focused on wealth building vs spreading myself out into different niches

The results have been outstanding since then
5.

I'm on track to having my best month on Twitter

Since focusing on my niche I've:

- Reached 3000 followers
- Become an admin in a trading group
- Grown my investing newsletter to $125 recurring monthly
- And I was followed by one of my trading inspirations @SJosephBurns
6.

This is to show both the highs and lows of Twitter

Most people will only show you the highs

And that's fine

But I'll always show you my losses
7.

Growing on Twitter isn't all peaches and roses

Be prepared to have your down days

Because you will have them at some point

It's all apart of the journey

Do this and I'm sure you'll do just fine here
