Really disappointing day yesterday - Min for Climate refused to incorporate my amendments into bill setting up Climate Action Fund. My simple amendments sought to incorporate #NatureBasedSolutions into the fund & not just focus on technology to address CC #BlackMark4Greens
My other contributions yesterday: "We need to incorporate Nature-based Solutions into our climate change adaptation and mitigation policies. It has been a real gap to date, and that gap is reflected in this Bill".
"I'm very disappointed that none of my amendments will be incorporated....We should be expecting the very best projects and the best results for our environment. But the way the fund is structured at the moment, that's not going to happen."
