With the 3TC aka SolidarityCup 🗓️ to be played tomorrow, everyone would be 🤔 about the complexity of the format. So here's an imaginary match between CSK, MI & RCB so that it'll be easier for you to get a feel of the format. Each team 🏏 consists of 8 players.
The draw🎲 for the 1st half has been completed and the order of the teams are as follows: CSK - Batting🏏 RCB - Bowling⚾️ MI - Dugout🪑. Each team gets to bat 6 overs in the 1st half. At the end of the first half, MI scored the most runs followed by CSK & RCB. (cont)
Since RCB lost 7 wickets they had to end their innings before the completion of 6 overs, now Kohli💯 will bat alone for RCB in the 2nd half. Based on the runs scored the order of the teams in 2nd half are as follows: MI - Batting🏏 CSK - Bowling⚾️ RCB - Dugout🪑. (cont)
In the 2nd half, MI scored 122 of their 12 overs with Polly & Hardik scoring 30's. RCB resumed their innings at 55/7, Kohli💯 who batted alone had to score only in even numbers. He put on a stunning display😯of batting running🏃‍♂️ a lot of 2's and thrashed Malinga's over. (cont)
MI dismissed Kohli with a fine direct hit🎯 by Jadeja ending his innings at 79 leaving the score tied👔 with MI. CSK resumed their innings with a target of 123 to win🏆. With 23 needing off the last over, Dhoni was the last batsman standing as CSK lost its 7 wickets. (cont)
Kohli was forced to use Dube due to lack of resources & Dhoni pounced on the rookie hitting 2 6's and a 4 off the 1st 5 balls. With 7 needed off the last ball, Dhoni launched🚀 one into the stands and thereby ending the match in a tie👔. Gold🥇 was shared between the three teams.
