Been processing the Washington report and have so many thoughts. As a woman who has worked in the legal profession for 20 years & sports industry for 15 I certainly have a great deal of experience to draw from. Tonight I’ve heard from several male colleagues, all trying to say
they are sorry if they’ve ever said anything that made me feel uncomfortable. I HATE that. And I’ve told them all to quit apologizing. My advice to all men, especially in sports: simply use common sense. Be respectful. Be a good human. And to all women: know that a compliment
is NOT harassment. And if someone makes you feel uncomfortable, TELL THEM. It’s not hard. TRUST ME, I understand the situation. I truly do. But if something’s wrong call it out. Then go be great at your job. Period. BTW: memo to teams, players, organizations: you do NOT need to
hire more women for the sake of diversity. Hire the best person for the job, regardless of race, gender, etc. Give EVERY applicant an equal opportunity, based on ability, PERIOD.
