Importantly the election monitoring bodies are waiting for health guidlines to be gazetted urgently. And political gatherings blatantly violate health guidelines - politics shouldn’t run as usual - we cannot turn a blind eye! Lives are at stake! #LKAElections2020 #SriLanka

And the minister of health has now undermined the work of Public Health Inspectors(PHIs) in #SriLanka saying PHIs reveal details of #COVIDー19 cases - and cause inconvenience. PHIs in #lka are now on strike. We need to prioritize lives over politics.
