Can’t really explain how corrupt @LQHomesMatter is. They are a housing association taking advantage of poor ppl. Currently we invested in a property that due to bad #cladding is worth nothing. @LQHomesMatter refuse to replace the cladding and @coyleneil has done little to help
Our lift has been down for over 2 weeks. The admin department is made up of about 3 ppl. They send one line emails and the block is just not looked after. They were supposed to help us on the ladder with a zone 1 investment now we have all our money in a death trap...
Our block is made up of key workers. That’s people like me who have worked on community projects across Southwark. Some of the individuals are nurses and doctors who have worked round the clock for our NHS. One such couple has been unable to sell their property.
They are both nurses and were considering selling their property to move to a bigger place. They had the buyers at hand but the mortgage company didn’t allow anyone to borrow money to buy their flat because of the #cladding . They are stuck, unable to sublet.
This is a huge #scandal which is a reflection on a government that doesn’t care for those coming up or trying to get on the ladder. It’s outrageous #claddingscandal
