Been watching from a distance what happened yesterday in Dublin. I've been considering this post since last night.

These 3 use the criminals, the benefit cheats, the religious zealots, the mentally unstable, the marginalised and disenfranchised of society to do their bidding and make it look like the have lots of support.

language, emotive speeches, and a thin veneer of morality. When in reality it's about two things:
1. Control/Power/Influence
2. Money
However, for those 3 it differs. For the Gowl its money, and power. For Kelly it's all of the above. But for Barrett it's really about control.

Barrett has no drive regarding money. Everything is about control. Probably because he's never had any outside of his first and second marriage. His 2nd wife is twenty years his junior, and fairly suggestable judging by her tweets. He surrounds himself with neanderthals
as it means he has the intellectual upper hand consistently. Even his deputy has been carefully selected, and is clearly of low IQ and powers of reason.
Kelly on the other hand knows how the game works from the background. He was Press Officer to UKIP, and personal advisor to

Farage in Europe. He knows how to stoke the boiler of fear, hatred and ignorance with carefully selected language, using the right people to push local buttons, and pushing a veneer agenda to get those locals involved. He knows how much money is involved and is clearly targeting
a seat in Europe for himself to get on the travelling gravy train. From there he would be able to use that platform normalise his beliefs on a grander scale.

only Kelly and Barrett are talking to each other. They are clearly using the likes of Croft, O'Mahony, Flanagan, and now Connors to deliver their ground swelling message. They in turn, use their influence, over the canon fodder to get the numbers at gatherings...
It's clear where the strategy lies. I think Kelly is playing to Barretts ego, which is massive, and using him to get more neanderthals on board.

The LBGTQ+ movement. That in itself plays well for them as it strikes at a social barrier that is programmed into most about homosexuality. How it is weird, or deviant in some way. Then the fear of children being abused, which has a large history in Ireland,
and you have a perfect storm...the two combined to make some kind of wild connection back to a minister as the grandstand to pilot this on, and it begins to gain momentum, create doubt, stoke fear, and prime those who regularly bark into a vacuum of hate.

might seem this appears to be the overarching strategy. Barrett wants to believe he's relevant but my opinion is he's a small timer who will be used for a bigger picture, and then discarded. Kelly is the concern here. He appears to have time on his hands now after brexit, and
wants to devote his attentions here, and use the lunatic fringe to launch his platform for a future campaign. Campaigns need funds, and fools are easily parted with their money when fear is involved.
