Again, this started over someone drawing chalk on a sidewalk. From there the Feds cleared the park and then chased people down the street.

Seems pretty clear that too many law enforcement officers really just want to fuck people up.
The Feds purpose here is clearly to instill as much terror as possible after PPB roughed up Portland.
Recall a federal court restricted what PPB could do. Now it appears the Trump administration has sent in the Feds to do what PPB can't.
The inability of civilian oversight to rein in law enforcement created a space for this culture to flourish. We have to do better.
The level of misconduct that we are witnessing in Portland by both PPB and the Feds is some of the worst I've seen in quite some time.
This is what Trump wants. He wants to suppress people's rights. He wants to suppress their votes. He wants to suppress our voices.

The entire evening protesters have been peaceful. The Feds decided to use someone using chalk on a sidewalk as a pretext to causing violence on Portland's streets.
