So I wanted to share a couple of things, kind of a joint thread today. To start, does anyone else notice how people change from Con RWNJ's to the side of the progressives and not the other way around? It made me think, because I have a follower who commented on how they used
to be of the RWNJ persuasion and then they got saved and brought to the"light side". I don't hear of many progressives who think, "you know what would be awesome? If I could become a destructive, hateful P.O.S" Ok so, anyway just something to ponder if you're super bored.
As I was walking to my vehicle from the rally this afternoon, I headed to the funicular and I saw a couple people at the top, looking like they might be waiting for something. The guy asked me if I had been at a protest when he caught sight of my sign I was carrying. I
explained I had and told him we were protesting against the government. He made the assumption I was referring to the Federal Government, and when I said we were standing against Kenney, he said he thought I was referring to Trudeau. I told him, and his friend, that Kenney
was/is far more dangerous to his livelihood than Trudeau. I continued on explaining to him about how there is a stigma to hate Trudeau based on trivial mannerisms and other equally petty things. The two people asked me what Bill 1 entailed, and when I explained it to them, they
were shocked. I shared a bit more of what I believe the end game is, at least to my best guess, and more of less told them that anyone who isn't wealthy or part of his inner circle would be all that's left and they'd stand on the smouldering remains of the province and the
bodies of Albertans. They were stunned. I felt the need to inform them that the new Federal Party, Wexit Canada, had just appointed a leader in the last couple of days and he is from Athabasca. The guy spoke up and said, he's from Athabasca and when I elaborated on the fact
that "Wexiting" is a complete joke, he said well it isn't for Alberta and I explained to him why it's simply not feasible. I wrapped up the conversation with encouraging the both of them to educated themselves. I didn't see the conversation coming but I sure hope after a little
insight, we have gained a couple more followers pulling the rope in the right direction and supporting us as a complete unit. I hope they'll be at a protest sometime soon. The irony was, they worked for Boyle street. I have a feeling their hearts are at the right spot, but
they've been fed far too much misinformation. This is the reason we need to continue to educate and help people without judgement. It's awfully frustrating, but the secret needs to get out. We need to save people from unintentionally hurting themselves. Everyone has things
they're ignorant about, we need to throw them a life preserver. With this being said, and I understand that I may or may not get any responses to this but, if there are voters out there who have questions that I may be able to answer, I'd love for them to contact me via my DM.
I know some folks view asking questions as "weak", it's not. Knowledge is power. The more knowledgeable you are, the better equipped you are to make well informed decisions. If I can't answer it, I'll do my best to get you answers. Ok, good talk.
