Information is power. If you don't have zine modding exp, educate yourself! Ask friends with exp for advice + templates. People often underestimate the work, frustration and time that goes into a zine. There's a lot going on behind the scenes 4/5.
Not being ready isn't a bad thing either; I dropped FE3H Worm Zine a few months ago (pre-applications) because I wasn't ready to solo-mod, but now I'm modding another zine with friends who have more experience than me and am learning HEAPS 5/5.
