The Last Jedi is trending, so I'm gonna make a thread to celebrate some of the most important people that made it possible!
1. Steve Yedlin, Cinematographer:
Steve Yedlin is an artist with a camera and manages to make every shot in this movie gorgeous. He is absolutely one of my favorite DPs of all time and deserves SO much respect for his work here.

2. John Williams, Composer:
John William's music has always been a staple of Star Wars films, and this is no exception. Every track is impactful, memorable, and downright astonishing. His music conveys such emotion in every scene and it's great.

3. Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker:
Of course I had to mention him. The man is Luke Skywalker through and through, but more than that, he's an incredible actor that nails basically any role. He brings such power and emotion to this film, and I'd say it's one of his best performances.

4. Michael Kaplan, Costume Designer:
Not only are the costumes of our main characters incredible, symbolic, and cool, but every alien, uniform, and droid we see is just downright stunning. Michael Kaplan helped to build the galaxy of TLJ and did so brilliantly.

5. Ren Klyce, Sound Designer:
The man behind the sound of every laser blast, every spaceship, every swing of a lightsaber. Ren Klyce managed to create such an atmosphere with every sound effect and managed to make each location or piece of tech sound unique and real.

6. Rick Heinrichs, Production Designer:
Rick Heinrichs' job was to turn the idea for each location into a physical place, and moreover, to visually develop the Last Jedi and the galaxy it inhabits. Every location, spaceship, and design element turns out beautifully thanks to him.

7. Rian Johnson, Writer/Director:
Obviously I had to mention him. He is one of TWO people to ever write AND direct a Star Wars movie, with the other being George Lucas himself. He pulls it off brilliantly, giving us a powerful, thought-provoking analysis of the Star Wars legacy.

And that's all for now! Obviously there are a MILLION more people that worked on this film, but I just wanted to highlight some of the people behind the aspects of the film that I adore. I love The Last Jedi a lot, and it wouldn't have been what it is without these people.
