Stop making wearing a mask political!

1. You’re not wearing the mask for YOU, you’re wearing the mask for people like me and my son who are high risk.

2. The mortality rate for this virus is double the 4% people are saying (or .1% that idiots are saying) 4% includes cases that have not been resolved, meaning it includes people who have not recovered yet.

You don’t know the outcome of those cases yet, so including those numbers is the government padding the numbers for their own benefit. Wake up.

To get the true mortality rate, you have to add recovered cases & deaths & divide the number of deaths by that number (inactive cases)

As of today, there are 3,354,925 cases in the US.

There are 137,392 deaths attributed to COVID.

1,488,472 have recovered.

1,488,472 + 137,392 = 1,625,864 total non-a five (resolves) cases

So 136,392/1,625,864= 0.084

I know math is hard, but that’s 8.4%

There is a 8.4% mortality rate for COVID in the US among non-active (resolved) cases.

Let’s put that in perspective for those of you who refuse to listen

2019/2020 flu season (6 months): >1% mortality in the US.

2009 H1N1: >1% mortality in the US.

Even the incorrectly touted 4% mortality for COVID would be astronomical compared to the seasonal flu and H1N1 combined.

Now let’s talk about the lifelong cardiopulmonary issues that people who recovered from COVID will have.

Sit down, shut up, & wear your damn mask. It’s not a conspiracy theory or anyone trying to control you or take away your rights. It’s common sense and it’s a precaution to help protect you and everyone else and slow this virus down so we CAN get back to some semblance of normal.
