- don’t be afraid to trim your budget
- make a schedule AND STICK TO IT!

Budget everything to zero at the start of the month:

- this means before the month starts you know where every single dollar goes!
- this could be revenues or expenses
- it could be money saved, or money invested
- just make sure you know where your money is going
Every month is different:

- You need to understand that some months are going to have more expenses
- Christmas for example. Buying presents for other could really hurt you financially if you aren’t prepared!
- if you don’t have a plan it will make you stressed! Have a plan!
Start with the most important expenses first:

- make sure you’re able to cake of yourself!
- food, clothes, shelter! These are things you need to take care of first!
- then you can get rid of your big expenses like car note, mortgage, insurance!
Don’t be afraid to trim your budget!

- yes I know this can suck but it’s super important
- if you realize you’re spending more than you are taking in there might be a few things you can cut back on!
- stop buying fast food or going out to eat all the time!
- make smart choices
Make a schedule and STICK TO IT!

- this is definitely the most important!
- your schedule will reflect everything else on this list!
- being prepared will make the rest of your budgeting a whole lot easier
- the most important part of budgeting is following your schedule!!!
Create a buffer budget:

- in other words, have an emergency fund.
- this is super important because sometimes things happen that you can’t prepare for! just like COVID!
- I personally think part of preparation is understanding that somethings are gonna happen regardless!
