It's amazing how people will look at my video series about shitty jobs and how we all have to work jobs that suck more than they have to and that sucks, and they'll be confused like "Yeah, all jobs suck, what's your point?"
"Yeah, one third of our lives (at least) are meaningless drudgery that we gain nothing from, but must do lest we starve to death. What's the issue here?"
And then they're like "You're bitter that you can't get a good job."

And like... I have my dream job? My concern is that other people are forced to go through the shitty thing I had to go through?
I feel very sorry for people who've bought into the idea that they should work hard for their exploiters. They've built their identity around being good drones, and can't handle the reality that they should be mad about how they're being fucked over.
On some level this is a defense mechanism. It's easier to keep your head down low and pretend like everything is fine than to accept that you are in a no-win situation...

But on the other hand, wake the fuck up! This shit sucks, and needs to change.
It's truly distressing how programmed people are to just hate hate hate the poor, even if they themselves are poor.
