Why is there a Marxist revolution trying to overthrow Western Liberalism?

Politics is about power, and power requires loyalty. Status in human society is a zero-sum game, so there will always be low-status people.

These low-status people are a fertile breeding ground for revolution; currently losing at life and prepared to take big risks.

The original version of this was Leninism, the enemies were the "klassovyi vrag" - class enemies.

"Class enemies" were labelled not because of their hostile actions, but simply because of their social origin before the revolution.

In the contemporary West, a class struggle between workers and aristocracy didn't work out, mostly because life in the West is too good for most people. There is food, even the poor can afford cheap vacations, etc.

But money is only one component of status.

A more advanced and efficient form of Leninism would seek out everyone in society with some kind of grievance or reason for low status, and build a powerful coalition out of them.

That system is (charitably) called "Intersectionality", or less charitably "BioLeninism".

Why do they want more women/minorities etc in leadership positions? Why are they asking white men to step down from leadership positions? Why are white people like second class citizens in the SJW movement?

Because white people are like "class enemies".

If the Intersectional/Bioleninist revolution were completely overturned and we went back to the social structure of 1970 but with the technology of 2025, straight, cis white people would do OK.

This brings their loyalty into question; they cannot really be trusted.

No, the ideal Intersectional revolutionary is at the intersection of so many different categories that they can *only* have status if The Party wins; they're black, trans, gay, disabled, fat, and maybe a "minor attracted person" too.

These people are committed to winning, and if the Intersectional coalition holds there are enough of them to destroy Liberalism.

We can see some cracks appearing though. Straight white cis feminists like @jk_rowling have realized that they are in a precarious position.

But there's a more important question: why has almost the entire Liberal establishment gone along with Intersectionality for the past 30 years, only to now realize that they're going to be first up against the wall after the revolution?

I think the answer is partly an intense desire to signal virtue, and partly the fact that the Anglosphere hasn't been invaded and repressed within recent history, so people have let their guards down and think nothing bad can happen.

Hopefully this is the point where the establishment take a long hard look at the history of communism - the famines, the purges, the destruction and yes the liquidation of elites - and puts a stop to it.

Rules concerning the separation of Church and State should be expanded to cover political material. The universities need to be reformed so that they are only for education, not indoctrination.

We need to see "diversity officers" for what they really are - political commissars. They should be banned in public organizations and banned in large private companies.

Actual discriminatory processes should not be allowed, but we should not expect equality of outcome.

Equality of outcome is not compatible with freedom. We must make the right choice here and keep our freedom, our meritocracy and our liberal, capitalist paradise - the best society the world has ever seen.
