The Massachusetts Senate is currently debating the #ReformShiftBuildMA act, which proposes critical measures to end police violence and promote racial justice in MA. But they need your help to get it passed. Here's a thread on the contents of the bill and how you can take action:
The #ReformShiftBuildMA Act is a bill that aims to reform police standards, hold police accountable, and shift resources from police to community investments. But since it came out of committee last Monday, Senate Republicans have stalled on the #ReformShiftBuildMA bill, delaying the vote until Monday to undermine it. Republicans are blocking the #ReformShiftBuildMA bill because of Section 10, which ends the

CDMA has been asking MA Senators and Reps to take the #NoCopMoney pledge so that they stand up to police unions in cases like this, where police are lobbying to gut Section 10 from the bill.
