When Muslim activists are being targeted and are falsely charged with fictitious sections, AMU alumni organisations are holding Mushairas. There is nothing wrong with the Mushaira. Not everyone but most people enjoy them.

We see today the incessant witch-hunt of students who participated in the anti-CAA-NRC compaign. Not raising your voice against the atrocities of govt will only show your self-centredness. We can't satiate ourselves with poetry when we have serious issues to serve.

You, the resourceful alumni, need to speak against the doubtful charges on students . Faiz, Majaz, Jalib and all others are just waste of time if you can't show solidarity with your juniors. If you can comprehend the verses of revolution what stops you from one.

Dear AMU Alumni Associations across the globe, Mushaira may attempt to spread positivity and be a stress buster during the current pandemic but the positivity must be directed towards the cause of your juniors.
