Boomerang politics...you get all up in arms, ask for ethics probes, refer a case to the cops, ask the public to condemn a valuable public charity so you can attack the PM. Then you realize that this charity is such that everybody, including your tribe, has wanted to associate 1/4

with it for years. Former PM’s, Ministers, Premiers, leadership candidates etc. have addressed them, sung its praises, traveled abroad etc. You also realize that the no bid job was for less than $20M to drive $900M of grants to young people, which is a low percentage 2/4

compared to what the Red Cross, United Way etc. are paid to administer programs for disasters and the elderly, also without bid! But, but,...the optics!

So what to do now @CPC_HQ: Double down? Call the PM’s mother names? Attack Morneau’s kids? “Yabut” yourselves deeper? 3/4
