Recently there have been major reports regarding a photoshoot by Vogue Arabia in the Madinah province, where several supermodels took haraam pictures.
But could it be even worse than it seems?

Firstly, this photoshoot was taken in the Hijaz, in the area where the Masjid of the Prophet (saw) is visited by millions yearly, and where he (saw) and the Sahabah lived and died.
That enough is disrespectful to the image of Islam and the Haramain.

Secondly, the photoshoot was taken in a certain spot in the Madinah region known as Al Ula. This is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
But what most Muslims don't know is that this place has Islamic history, long before the Prophet (saw).

Al Ula is in fact the site of Mada'in Saleh (as) - the homes of Thamud. It is where the punishment of Allah (swt) came down when they killed the camel of Saleh (as).
To put it straight - it's no place to play around in.

Allah (swt) mentions in the Qur'an the call of Saleh (as) and how they were gifted the ability to carve into the mountains their homes - as seen today in Mada'in Saleh
The ayahs continue speaking about the crimes of Thamud, and how they rejected Allah (swt), and so the punishment came upon them, as if they had never lived there.
Later on during the time of the Prophet (saw), a military expedition stopped in Al Ula among the houses of Thamud.
The Prophet (saw) warned them regarding how they should treat this place, and told them to only take water from the well of the camel.

So now it is established of the manner that Mada'in Saleh should be treated according to the Sunnah, what have the Saudis done today?
Since the reforms began, Al Ula has become a tourist site and a source of income for the Saudi government.
This has included producing a horror film to disregard the original history of the site, as well as installing a concert hall among the carved homes.

Thus it comes as no surprise that the Saudi government gave permission for scantily clothed Western women to carry out photoshoot at this highly significant site.
It's already happening way before Vogue arrived.

This isn't the only Jahiliyyah returning under the Saudi government. In the north, a city known as NEOM is being built.
Targeted towards western kuffar, this city will be free of restrictions on alcohol, concerts and clubs. Essentially a new Dubai.

To carry out this plan, the Saudi government has essentially carried out a pogrom, driving out the Huwaiti tribes from their homes and villages.
Those who have resisted, such as Abdrahim Al Huwaiti, have been murdered and accused of being terrorists. https://twitter.com/AnsarulMabadi/status/1262018390761373703?s=20

This needs to stop. Stand for the Qur'an and Sunnah.
