First of all, I would like to start this thread with Tanakiyo canon just because they are canon and it's not a crime to accept and respect the fact that they are canon because Furudate made them canon and they are canon, a cute canon couple. Tanakiyo canon. Do you hear me?
Tanaka is a great senpai. There's no doubt about it. If I can, I would list down every single thing that he did that makes him a good senpai but this thread would be very long so I'll just mention some.
Tanaka got on his knees to beg Saeko to drive Kageyama and Hinata to Tokyo because he knows that the duo would bring a lot of opportunities to Karasuno. Not to mention that he also brought out his money in case Saeko disagrees. This is only the first one but Tanaka best senpai.
Also, look at Hinata hiding behind Tanaka's back whenever he gets scared. He knows that Tanaka will protect him and attack so he did. Even he knows that Tanaka is a great senpai and you cannot disagree with this.
Yes, Tanaka may be loud, considering that he shouts and gets hyped often. Yes, he admires Kiyoko. BUT HE IS NOT JUST A LOUD BOY WHO CHASES AFTER A BEAUTIFUL SENPAI.
HE IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT.

I mentioned that Tanaka is a great senpai but here's another. TANAKA IS A GREAT FRIEND.
Even though he likes Kiyoko and is known to be a magnet of fights, he doesn't fight people who take interest on Kiyoko especially if he knows that they're nice. A good example is Yamamoto.

Also, Tanaka respects Kiyoko. He chases after her but he knows how to respect her decisions. If Kiyoko will say so, he will stop even though he's always getting rejected. It was also mentioned by Ennoshita. Tanaka's careful with people's feelings. What a great guy.
Ennoshita respects and acknowledges Tanaka. He said that Tanaka is simple and earnest and that really says a lot about him. Tanaka really is like that and that's what make him so great.
When Kanoka showed up, she said that the reason why she likes Tanaka is because Tanaka helped her gain confidence in herself, being someone who often gets mocked for her height.

Not to mention that he also rejected Kanoka in a nice way although it was all an understanding. If Tanaka really is just a loud boy who fawns over pretty girls, then he could just forget about Kiyoko and fawn over Kanoka who's another pretty girl who likes him.

And that's because HE IS NOT A LOUD BOY WHO FAWNS OVER EVERY PRETTY GIRL HE SEES. He truly likes Kiyoko and that scene with Kanoka proves it. If he likes Kiyoko solely for her looks then he could've just let Kanoka because she's pretty too but he didn't.
Tanaka's feelings for Kiyoko are true and sincere. And just like what Ennoshita said, Tanaka is a simple and earnest man.
So it's not really surprising to hear that his feelings for Kiyoko are earnest as well.

Someone already explained this but this scene after the Kamomedai match means a lot to Tanaka. Kiyoko always rejected him whenever he offers to help but Kiyoko let her this time. She made an effort for them to be closer and that must count for something.
Also, not to mention that this made Tanaka realize that the reason why Kiyoko always reject his offer is because the bag is actually light and not just because Kiyoko doesn't want him to.

Tanakiyo isn't a ship that makes you want to throw up. We don't actually have content so why would it made you throw up lol. Furudate never told us when they happened but it was already hinted from the start.

Not to mention that Kiyoko was always included in all of important Tanaka scenes. If what he feels for her is just a silly crush, why would she be included? Furudate was already hinting us but we just failed to understand.
Also, according to that someone, why di we like how the pretty girl ended up with the loud boy who's chasing after her? Sure, it may be a cliché and overused trope but there are people who enjoy plain fries and plain bread without jam.

Also, a relationship won't start unless someone takes an interest on the other person so I don't know what's their point in pointing out how Tanaka chased after her. At least he respects her and he knows how to take a no? Best boy behavior, I say.
Just look at Kiyoko's smile. That's the smile of someone who knows she married the best man out there. Have you ever seen Kiyoko smile like this before? You can see that she changed a lot after all these years and I want to think that it's because of Tanaka.
Just to add onto Kiyoko, she looks more confident now considering that she was insecure of the scars on her legs but she's confidently wearing a skirt now. I know it was because of Yachi but this still needs to be said. (Hello Kiyoyachi shippers. Y'all cute.♡)
In conclusion, Tanaka is not just a loud boy who chases over a pretty senpai. TANAKA IS AN EARNEST MAN WHO'S A VERY GOOD CHARACTER. And most importantly now eww.
And Tanakiyo doesn't make you want to throw up because it's a good and a healthy ship. And may I add,
