"It's a partnership, and we just want everyone to be able to come out here and protest safely."

Officer pointed out one reason they are happy #ShortPumpProtests worked with @HenricoPolice to plan the route: the route covers Henrico's most accident prone intersection, and a mall entrance where a pedestrian was struck two nights ago. "Safety always comes first."
