The fact that a portion of the left is actively advancing a zero sum antagonism between symbolic-relational structures with policy/material objectives is astoundingly bad politics
Viewing the symbolic as an aberration to the “material” is reactionary & boring. No surprise that those unwilling & incapable of understanding human existence on heterogeneous, fluid and contingent terms are at the fore of downplaying racism, transphobia, and red-brown alliances
