Manisharma is a boon to Telugu film industry. Personally, I feel that no one could beat him in melodies. I’m a big fan of even his interludes too. This thread is a tribute with interludes to ‘Melody Brahma’ on his birthday 🙏🏻

Manisharma never keeps the melody aside irrespective of the song being a mass or a class number. Though the song ’Nandamoori Nayaka’ from ‘Samarasimha Reddy’ has unattractive lyrics, it’s a great melodious composition and I die for this interlude! 😍
Manisharma’s combo with Jayanth Paranjee is a pure bliss which started fully with ‘Bavagaru Bagunnara’. While I enjoy the complete song ‘Navami Dashami’, this interlude is the most attractive part of the song, for me! ❤️
‘Choodalani Undi’ is definitely the best album for me in the combination of Megastar and Manisharma. As a full song, ‘Manassa Ekkadunnav’ is my favourite but the interludes in ‘Abbabba Iddu’ are so melodious that I can just hum them alone, as a song!
This is another great melody from ‘Samarasimha Reddy’. Manisharma is a master in diversified instrumentation in his songs. The shift from Strings to Shehnai and then to Strings again in this is something else❤️
However, I feel that he could’ve avoided that ‘allelo’ in between.🙈
‘Tella Tellani Cheera’ from Devi Putrudu is one of the best melodious duets by Manisharma for Venky and this interlude sounds the best on headphones 🎧 or speakers 🔊 of any quality. That’s Manisharma for you!
‘Ravoyi Chandamama’, a Jayant’s film again can be termed Manisharma’s vishwaroopam and ‘Swapnavenuvedo’ still feels fresh. I love this interlude for the usage of various instruments with saxophone 🎷 prominently. As far as I remember, it was played by some Nepali artist.
Unfortunately, there are less films of Manisharma with Nagarjuna but their combo produced great melodies. ‘Kala Anuko’ from ‘Azad’ is a timeless classic and this interlude takes me somewhere, especially the bit played in Veena 😍
The combo of Mahesh and Manisharma is unforgettable. ‘Endukee Prayamu’ is my most favourite song in ‘Rajakumarudu’. It has got great interludes. This first interlude literally does a rafting in mind with the instrumentation and a soulful humming by Chitra in between 😍
The second interlude in ‘Endukee Prayamu’ is equally good as the first one, with diversified instrumentation. Manisharma employed a flute, Veena, Strings, Chorus and Chitra’s humming again in it 😍
Who cannot love the song ‘Cheppave Chirugali’ in Okkadu and with this amazing interlude? ❤️
After Okkadu, Manisharma came up with another great album ‘Arjun’ for Mahesh and Gunasekhar and ‘Madhura Madhuratara Meenakshi’ stands out in the album. This interlude has everything. Instrumentation, melody and what not? Manisharma is a Melody Brahma, this is a solid proof. 🙏🏻
The second interlude in ‘Madhura Madhuratara’ should also be quoted for the amazing shifts in instrumentation... This 55 seconds interludes is the best for me, in this song ❤️
The theme of the song ‘Ghallu Ghallumani’ from Indra might’ve been inspired from ‘Ghanan Ghanan’ in Lagaan. Melody Brahma came up with an instrumentation and tune which is on par with that of A. R. Rahman. This interlude is a proof for my above statement.
In the same film ‘Indra’ there is another song ‘Radhe Govinda’ with a terrific composition. This interlude turns out to be something when the Shehnai kind pattern starts, in the tune of pallavi 😍
Manisharma ruled TFI for a decade with his melodies. This interlude from ‘Toli Pilupey’ in Aadi proves why he is the King of Melodies.
‘Aakasham Sakshiga’ from Prabhas’s Adavi Ramudu is an underrated melody by Manisharma. It has got beautiful lyrics, soulful Sonu and this melodious interlude 👌🏻
Though the film utterly disappointed, ‘Shakti’ is definitely one of the best works of Manisharma. Besides terrific BGM, the song ‘Prema Desham Yuvarani’ stands out for its vintage style of composition. It has this amazing interlude. 👏🏻
I feel the film ‘Anji’ literally stood on Manisharma’s music. ‘Abbo Nee Amma Goppade’ is the most vibrant song in the album and this interlude stands out for me with its thumping beats and a lusty humming by a female singer. 🥁
‘Athadu’ remains a classic in TFI and Manisharma has a great share in making it so. While the entire album is great, I choose ‘Neetho Cheppana’ if I have to pick one. This interlude makes me love the song more everytime I listen to it. 🥰
‘Dole Dole’ from Pokiri stands in top 5 for me, in the combo of Manisharma-Mahesh. Checkout this interlude and the way it amazingly shifts from Veena/Sitar (?) to a drum 🥁. Seriously, can anyone do this and impress, other than Manisharma? 🙆🏻‍♂️
Balu is the best album for me in the PK-Manisharma combo. ‘Athi Methani’ is my favourite song in the album. The violin 🎻 bit in this interlude shouts again Manisharma is a ‘Melody Brahma’ 🙏🏻
Trumpet 🎺 always sounds horrible for me except when it is used by composers like Manisharma. This interlude from ‘Inthe Inthinthe’ of Balu is a tutorial for how to use a trumpet correctly. ☺️
‘Em Pilla Kushalama’ from ‘Chennakesava Reddy’ went unnoticed except for ardent Manisharma followers. 😕
This interlude is amazingly composed using violin 🎻 majorly and then Strings!
Can there be a better interlude for Charan to prove himself that he is a good successor to his father in dance, in his debut film? 😍
.... And Manisharma composed it!
Another album to be remembered of Manisharma for PK is ‘Gudumba Shankar’. ‘Le Le Le Le’ is a good intro song of PK for me, after Inthe Inthinthe. Manisharma used Saxophone 🎷 again in this interlude 👌🏻
Manisharma’s interludes are very beautifully structured with smooth shifts in instrumentation. This interlude from ‘Jai Jai Ganesha’ of Jai Chiranjeeva is the best example for that... What a composer ❤️
‘Sada Siva’ in Khaleja deservingly covered up other songs but ‘Piliche Pedavula Paina’ is a great melody and it has got this soothing interlude in flute as the song is on Lord Krishna 🥰
This interlude in ‘Marumalli Jabilli’ song of Lakshmi Narasimha starts normally and takes a sudden shift which makes this song more lovable 🥰
While speaking about amazing pattern shifts in Manisharma’s songs, ‘Alele Alele’ in Mrugaraju comes forward. Checkout how this interlude transforms in between 🥳
The beginning of this interlude from ‘Bangaru Kalla’ in Murari is also used as a BGM in the film. It’s as sweet as a mother’s lullaby for her child! ❤️
‘Premato Raa’ is another great album for Venky by Manisharma. While ‘Emaindo Emo’ is my all time favourite, ‘Hey Dhaga Dhaga’ has got this intensely romantic interlude!
I feel the song ‘Gappu Chippu’ from ‘Tagore’ didn’t get recognised as its sibling numbers but this interlude is my favourite. It is composed with beats that aptly suits Megastar’s onscreen grace! 😎
Does this need an introduction? 😇
I could erase the film ‘Varudu’ from my memory but this interlude in the song ‘Kalalu Kaavule’ cannot be erased easily! Because it’s Manisharma’s 🤷🏻‍♂️
Is there anyone who doesn’t love the song ‘Himaseemallo’ from ‘Annayya’? 🤔
Tarak-Manisharma combo is also a special one and ‘Ashok’ is to be remembered for a long time. I just love this interlude from the song ‘Gaajulaku Chethulanisthaa’ 🙏🏻
It feels bad when the song you loved the most in audio turned out to be something else on screen. 😕
‘Adugadugu’ from Bobby is one such experience for me. This interlude 🎻 really deserved better visuals! 😩
Manisharma is not just a Melody Brahma but also a ‘Fusion Brahma’ for me. I got this opinion after this interlude of ‘I go Crazy’ from Kantri.

I really go Crazy for this song 🤩
Besides the catchy title song of ‘Ek Niranjan’, ‘Evaru Lerani’ is also my favourite because it has this soulful and soothing interlude along with good lyrics.
When a director like Krishna Vamsi who has a great taste in music collaborates with Manisharma who himself is a great music, the outcome will be like this interlude in ‘Ilaa Entha sepu’ from Sasirekha Parinayam. I wish these people should collaborate again and again! 🙏🏻
I strongly believe ‘Allade Allade’ from ‘Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdary’ is an unnoticed song for many. But it has sweet lyrics by Sirivennela with soulful rendition of Hariharan along with this interlude. Listen how the flute was continuously played for a long time 😍
I know that ‘Yekommakakomma’ from ‘Seenu’ is the favourite song for many Manisharma’s fans out there. I love this song too. ❤️
I remember the film ‘Sakhiyaa Natho Raa’ only because of Manisharma in collaboration with Jayanth Paranjee. This interlude is from the amazing ‘Oh Chandrama’ song 🤓
Finally, if there is someone (I wish none) who thinks that Manisharma’s time is up, 🤨
Listen to this Qawali style interlude from ‘Undipo Undipo’ song in ‘iSmart Shankar’ 👇🏻

Once again, Happy Birthday Manisharma garu... You still owe us many melodies ☺️
