We humans love to come up with all kinds of ways to differentiate people. There are conservatives and liberals; Democrats and Republicans; those who are woke and those seemingly unaware; oppressors and oppressed; white and black and others in-between. We make distinctions, and we
are quite good at it. We can even judge a person's heart based on whether or not they wear a mask.
But in Psalm 1, God gives us the distinction that matters far more than any other. That is the distinction between those who are blessed by God and those who are cursed by God.

We Christians would do well to remember that there is no distinction among men that is greater than this great Divine divide. If a fellow man is Christian, then we have far more to unite over than to divide over. If a fellow man is not a Christian, then may our God-awakened heart
care much more about winning their soul than we do damning their soul. God help us.
