I dont know who needs to hear this but your full body commissions are worth more than $20
If you're not getting any bites in your commissions it's not because they're overpriced

It's likely actually due to you having not gained a grounded audience yet

Getting your name out there can be tough but art should not cost less than minimum wage an hour
Tips on how I gained MY audience on Twitter. This is only my view. Many have done it different ways

Draw what you love. I'm serious.
Your passion will show in your work and gather like minded people to you.

Make friends. Not as stepping stones
As real friends. -->
Growth will happen through artistic friendships. You'll draw more and bounce ideas off each other. Even if they're silly little memes or skits.

Don't be afraid to retweet your own work. And don't apologise for it. Try doing it for night and morning crowd or peak times
Raffles are amazing on Twitter. Because info spreads easily people are able to see raffles on here fast. You'll gain followers plus get to practice a piece of art for fun.

Interact interact interact.
Thanking people is not only the kind thing to do but it auto bumps your tweet
Art trades!
Trading work with someone who's pieces you love allows you to be seen by their audience and them by yours! Plus it's fun as hell and let's you create friendships

Be positive and helpful. If you're a jerk constantly or always putting yourself down it's bad news :(
Remember. Commissions are NOT for everyone. You don't have to monetize your hobby and money doesn't reflect its value.

You can also make merch instead!
Some people prefer fandom merch over custom commissions and some artists are simply not built for it. That's ok!
Don't use only one site to post art. Spread yourself on lots of art sites and social media ! Get yourself out there.

It can also help to have the same name everywhere. It's not required but it makes you easy to find and easy to REMEMBER.

For when people try to recommend you
Twitter usage:

You don't NEED to keep your media tag with only your art (but it is advised) as long as you have a pinned tweet with examples of your work
Links to your socials and a contact email for commissioners

I also advise your banner to be your artwork !
Lastly

If you feel you're a "beginner" and don't deserve the pay for your work

Remember that even new employees being trained still get minimum wage or more.

So should you.
