Im fortunate perhaps to have only had to call the cops or had the cops called in my neighborhoods ~ 25 times?

But Ive really only needed ppl with guns ~once? - i was robbed at gunpoint at work - and they were super duper late 1/5

Every other time, i've (or my neighbor) needed a
-insurance advocate (90%)
-therapist
-government watchdog
-marriage counselor

Cops can't be all those things. they suck at those things individually, let alone expecting every cop to be good at all those non-gun things. 2/5

That's what #DefundThePolice is. We burn money on sending cops out for stuff that - it *should* look from the cops perspective - theyve been stupidly deputized into.

Like do i need a guy with a *gun* to fecklessly write down what got stolen pfff as if it made any difference?

Like sidenote ive only once in my life seen/heard of a crime actually getting solved, when a kid ran out the door with a case of beer as the cops were coming in for coffee. Legit.

Why not spend these butt-tons of gold on stuff that works instead?
