Game idea:

Cyberpunk but it has women on the development team.
is this take too spicy
oh no i angried The Gamers™
can i be added to the list of traitors to gaming and democracy now please
Some folks have rightly pointed out that this sounds like I think just adding women to the team would solve all the problems.

I'm sorry.

I should've said they ought to make a game that's actually cyberpunk and not what a horny 15-year-old boy would think is edgy.
oh shit still too spicy
Crap, I'm really bad at this

Sorry

What I really should've said is 80s neon cyberpunk aesthetics are based on xenophobia, racism, and cultural tensions, based on fear that Japan's progressive economic policies would crush Western capitalism.
AH FUCK
Sorry sorry

What I actually should've said is that punk and CYBERpunk are entirely built around resisting status quo and existing power structures, and that transhumanism is just the next logical and welcome step after embracing transgender people as valid and true.
Man, my autocorrect is really fucking with me this morning
Anyway, I should've phrased it this way:

A gigantic AAA game set in a dystopian future where you play a violent criminal is not only the least cyberpunk thing I can imagine, it's also directly opposed to the cyberpunk ethos, and its visual trappings are racist as fuck.
