14. Me, a woman: even tho i know I'm pretty, i look good, the society tells me otherwise. We fight very hard to accept ourselves because of today's "beauty standards" and when i say beauty standards, it's not only for women, men face them too. But rn it's about us 1/n
Men don't have to live in the fear of getting their pictures morphed, misused. My pictures have been misused 5 times. If i post a picture in shorts, i get called a slut. If a man posts his abs, he gets called a hottie.
I personally don't want anyone to call me "hot" -
- if you call me "beautiful" it'll definitely make my day. I have to think 10000 times before i post something. My own" friends" point out my 'flaws'
If a guy i know screenshots my pictures and i tell that to my frnds, the, response i get is "tune daali kyu photos?"
I can't roam free at night AT LEAST make the internet safe for me. The dms i get? The comments? Other women calling me a hoe? It breaks me down. Woman body is just a human body just like the male body, then why is it considered "nudity" if i post in shorts?
Why is my body objectified? Isn't it just a piece of flesh? Why do i need to shave my legs? Don't men also have body hair? I personally boycott today's beauty standards. I will go out without shaving my legs. I'll have thick thighs and be comfortable with it.
Just please make the internet safe for me. My family doesn't know about my socials. Because they are scared about my identity theft. All i want is posting pics without getting them misused and without getting judged. Thank you.
15. We had an instance where she was asked to "show more"
