I’m a bit late to this, but do the cancel culture bullies know ANYTHING about @GoyaFoods?
Those calling to cancel Goya are a lovely mixture ignorant morons who deface statues of SLAVES, loot, burn & shoot, some are @HouseDemocrats & @SenateDems, one bangs a gavel, some tried to stage a coup, one is running for President & many of them fancy themselves as journalists
The founders and employers of Goya Foods represent the quintessential story of immigrants achieving the American dream. They are part of the rich fabric that is America - the people @SenSchumer musters a solitary tear over before kicking the immigration can down the road, again
These Spanish immigrants came to our shores, worked tirelessly, and in 1936 founded Goya foods. They are the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States and the premier source for authentic Latin cuisine. Not only that, their food is high quality & very affordable.
Are the leftist progressive dolts triggered that this company places importance on family and values? And that they had a desire to achieve the American dream? I’m sure that’s part of it.
The history and story of Goya are as much about the importance of family and values as it is about achieving the American dream and helping to cultivate the Latin culture in the United States.
In 1936, Don Prudencio Unanue and his wife Carolina, immigrants who first migrated to Puerto Rico from Spain, started Goya in a small storefront on Duane Street in Lower Manhattan.
Are progressives triggered because they might be “greedy capitalists?” Leftists don’t have any real idea what the “American Dream” is. To them, America represents perpetual victimhood, bullying others into submission, destruction of lives and property, threatening/ intimidating
And silencing free speech & discouraging individuality, using “victim privilege” as only pompous, ignorant, virtue-signaling & the eternally offended can. And sadly, corporate America, @TheDemocrats, and their shadow groups finance and feed their misplaced furor.
Because what do they have and what do they do when they find out that they’ve been lied to forever? When they are honest and see that “big, bad, evil America” is not the impediment to achieving their dreams — THEY are.
THEY are their own impediment. THEY chose to believe that they are who @TheDemocrats, who have lied to them for generations, say they are. That others must rightfully hand them their dream, because they are incapable, and somehow kept from the immense opportunities we all have.
Do they want jobs, money and education gifted to them because they think they are entitled to it? How does it feel to wonder if you got a job, a raise, or accepted to a college because of your skin color? Is that satisfying? Fulfilling? Does it make them proud and confident?
Are they satisfied being awarded these things, not because they’re intelligent, capable, earned it on merit and through hard work, but because of legit concern by employers/professors that they will be ruined if they do not give in to extortion, threats, intimidation & demands?
. @GoyaFoods are also GIVERS:

“In 2018, Goya was ranked #2 as a leading U.S. food brand for its social influence and community support, according to TotalSocial rankings.
Goya Gives supports nearly 300 charitable endeavors, programs, scholarships, and events, and donates millions of pounds of food to local food banks and shelters, especially at times of natural disasters such as Hurricane Maria, Superstorm Sandy & Hurricanes Harvey & Irene.
In 2017-2018, the company launched the ‘Can Do’ campaign to benefit Feeding America and donated over 1.5 million pounds of food to families in need across the country.
In 2011, President Barack Obama honored Goya for its continued success and commitment to the Hispanic community, the only company to ever be honored by the President.
In 2012, Goya collaborated with First Lady Michelle Obama and the USDA to launch the MyPlate/ MiPlato campaign.
Goya recognizes the important role businesses play in leading the way for environmental change, and is the largest user of solar energy among Hispanic owned food and beverage companies, ranking as one of the top corporate solar users in the U.S. food and beverage industry.”
Someday, all of these freaking embarrassments to humanity will realize that they’ve alienated everyone, including each other, and that they have no one left. And it will be too late to undo what they’ve done. It’s already too late.

And what then. https://www.goya.com/en/our-company/history
