One last thought before I turn off the Twitter machine for the night; There is no shaming these people. #MAGA cannot be swayed by the facts or decency. They don't care about the path of death and destruction that's been cut across this country. They are rooting for it...

At this point, there's really no honest debate to be had with Trump supporters or the people willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. They have shown themselves to be the type of monsters who are willing to sacrifice the lives of others in the name of white grievance...

As the summer progresses and the situation becomes worse with the pandemic, the economy, and the legitimacy of the rule of law, it will be pointless to try to ground them in facts or in reality. They are consumed by an irrational hatred. They delight in your suffering...

Remember who these people are and remember who were the enablers when, inevitably, they come back and ask to return to polite society. Remember who called the deaths of 130,000 Americans a "hoax" and who told us to "learn to live with" this virus that's upended our existence...

But do yourselves a favor and stop engaging with them. They're not worth your patience. You don't wrassle with a pig because you'll just get dirty and the pig will enjoy himself. Instead, dedicate your thoughts to planning what comes next after they've been defeated and replaced.
