This would change so much about human society. A few examples. https://twitter.com/fmanjoo/status/1281664996401766400
First: everyone would be better at sex, and more forgiving and sensible about it. Like it or not you'd remember every bad and every good experience you'd had, from the perspective of all participants. After a few generations everyone would get better.
Second: everyone would have trauma issues. I know, we all have trauma but no: I mean everyone would remember being hurt or traumatized at some point.
My guess is we'd have more shrinks and fewer violent offenders, but yeah it wouldn't cure violence because you've met us, right?

Third: empathy wouldn't really require imagination. Most of us would be able to remember being on both sides of plenty of major conflicts, and the facts of that would require us to know, viscerally, the realities of armed conflict.
Fourth: nobody would remember dying—at least, not unless they were brought back and had kids after that. Remember, this is only memories from before conception. Not a lot of people would remember what it's like to get old.
I'm sure there's more to add to this but it's late. It's a fun thought experiment though. Maybe I'll add more tomorrow.
