That's a happy aaah, not the one sandwiched between ooh and ouch. Just clarifying.
It was 6.30 in the am, and I was not at home. The organs were crying aloud for the morning fix. The hospital canteen still a couple of hours from opening. Found a BEST canteen disguised as a dump. But rising above it, this spectacular sight.
A paper thimble full of divine tapri nectar may suit the workman's budget, but not his need. So I had two. I stopped after that so as not to become a spectacle of conspicuous consumption.
Saw a sad bench as I trudged back. One more picture for my neglected instagram feed. (I have a thing for benches. Nothing kinky).
Saw how I artfully hawked my insta handle there? But don't bother following me. I rate myself 3/10 there. When I reach 6, I'll let you know.
Round the corner, I saw a clever use of one of India's most popular logos. A whole row of them, but neatly done. See.
As I trudged back to the waiting room I set out from, I met an old friend. Sadly, he's quite toothless now. But still sporting his lopsided smile.
I enjoyed the gentle downward slope of the cosy cross lane. It's nice when gravity is on your side though age isn't. Then I felt guilty watching this guy set off for his day at work.
Got back in time to see the canteen opening up. They only have machine tea. But, I had five of them yesterday. And have developed a taste for the plastic flavoured cardamom tea served in a branded plastic cup. Hence the flavour.
