As child sex trafficking survivor, the Wayfair conspiracy is beyond offensive & infuriating.
I was trafficked in NYC by my own dad, & eventually in a child brothel in Queens.
Forget about insane conspiracies: pay attention to the trafficking going on in your own neighborhoods.

I wasn't abducted & shipped in boxes through a complex international scheme. I worked street corners in the East Village & Flushing; I took taxis or the subway to dates all across the city; I was raped in hotels, studio apartments, brownstones, parked cars.

These people don't actually care about trafficking, they just want drama, headlines, & conspiracy. They don't care about the kids being trafficked in their own schools & churches, because the realities of trafficking aren't as "sexy" as the conspiracies they invent on Reddit.

They're doing more harm to survivors by pretending to care about fake conspiracy theories like Wayfair than if they didn't acknowledge trafficking at all, and I'm frankly sick of it.
