*Except for the 50k+ resturant workers that use bikes to get to work, and then again when they’re at work to make deliveries

*Except for the peeps like @TransitNinja205 who bike around Queens, Brooklyn, BX and SI to see their friends, go to work and run errands. https://twitter.com/PhilipPapaelias/status/1281697422956212224
*Except for my friend Simon who is @NYCHA proud and uses his bike to get everywhere.
*Except for all the POC I see on bikes all over the city who are going shopping, seeing their friends etc.

Maybe they’re all really rich and headed to work I suppose.
*Except for my friend @hercules_reid who who has been riding his bike for years to get around Brooklyn… living in East Flatbush and now working in Downtown Brooklyn.
*Except for Katherine one of our former @ooneepod at Water Whitehall members who rode from Washington Heights to Downtown (10 miles) daily to go to work.

That’s not close to work.
*Except for my roommate and friend @bush_kel who together with his wife uses his bike to get to appointments, protest, and explore the city.
Except for my friend @BeyondCycle (Kevin) who is a cycling/fitness instructor from Brooklyn and uses his bike to get absolutely everywhere.
*Except for Angel, a member of our @ooneepod JSQ community, he uses his bike as a messenger in Manhattan during the day.
*Except for Nick, who uses his bike to make delivery for food service apps around Brooklyn and Manhattan.
*Except for me. I don’t consider myself very “rich" at all.

I grew up poor/working class in Brokolyn

For ten years I’ve used my bike to see friends, go to the gym (not anymore tho), run errands, go to work, and to relax.
