there are unfortunately a lot of scams going around rn and there are lots of people lying or even running multiple fake accounts to trick people into giving them money, so please please be careful of who u donate to or whose cashapp u rt :(
there was a good thread on how to spot a fake account and i thought i bookmarked it but i guess i removed it from my bookmarks...if i find it i’ll add it here bc i think it’s helpful
