2. The good news: @ratemyskyperoom's is a pretty easy grader. 62% of ratings are at least 8/10.
3. Even if you get a low Room Rating, you can always get another chance next time you're on national TV.

The awards for most improved go to @anitakumar01 and @RosenJeffrey (+5 each). But beware... some people fall even further from grace! Sorry @pattonoswalt (-3)...
4. Some of the obvious improvements you can make: Rooms with Animals (+1.2), Books (+0.5), Art (+1.0) and Plants (+1.1) all get higher scores v.s. rooms without.

@IanMurrayMP and @USRepKCastor's rooms have plants, books AND art.
5. Less obvious: Even though @ratemyskyperoom frequently comments on "Succulents," they're actually bigger fans of "Orchids" by ~0.6 points.
6. In their feedback, @ratemyskyperoom appreciates rooms containing "Books." They don't seem to appreciate rooms containing @CoryBooker =/
7. Learn the difference between "Hostage" v.s. "Historic." Hostage videos should be avoided at all cost. Instead, look to @ratemyskyperoom's Skype Rooms of history for 10/10 inspiration. Crossing this interior-design chasm is worth 7.1 points.
8. And, finally, if you need a quick boost, @ratemyskyperoom seems quite fond of Pineapples (+1.5), Elmo (+2.3), Wu Tang (+1.5) and Mid Century Modern (+2.0). These all outperform an average room quite a bit.
9. đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ť to everyone broadcasting (& working) from home! May @ratemyskyperoom grant all your Skype Rooms 10/10.
