Recommendations ahead of GW35+ (Thread) đź’

After a really bad prediction last week, saying that you should possibly avoid Mo Salah, he immediately silenced the haters with his performance against Brighton

However, here are my recommendations for GW35+...⤵️
🦊 DEF: James Justin 4.7 vs BOU (A)

After Ricardo Pereira's injury, James Justin has now played 6, 90 min games in a row with Leicester keeping a clean sheet in 3 of those games. He even started as a right wing back in the last game and managed to hit the post in the game…
before that. It therefore feels like an attacking return is due with him having the 2nd most shot attempts out of any defender over the last 3 gameweeks.

Leicester's defensive strength has also gone very under the radar. We have all heard about how good Wolves and Man Utd…
have been defensively since the restart however 3rd best when it comes to shots conceded is actually Leicester. With them now facing a Bournemouth side which has had the fewest amount of shots inside the box since the restart, it looks like this could be a perfect game for Justin
🔴MID: Sadio Mané 12.3 vs BUR (H)

After being benched in the last game, seeing Salah score 2 goals, feels like it must trigger Mané for this game against Burnley. He is sort of a differential nowadays which feels weird to say but he faces a Burnley side which has conceded the..
2nd most amount of shots in the last 3 GWs. Even though Burnley has kept an incredible amount of clean sheets this season, they have had it tough against the best attacks in the league so far. Looking at the 9 games they have played against MUN, MCI, LIV, CHE and TOT they have…
conceded a total of 27 goals which averages out at exactly 3 goals per game. Therefore, a rested Sadio Mané feels like a great pick this weekend and if you are brave enough, why not put the armband on him? 🤷‍♂️
🦊 Jamie Vardy 9.8 vs BOU (A)

For me it was only one player that I could recommend this weekend. Even though Iheanacho actually matches Vardy when it comes to underlying stats over the last few games despite having played a lot fewer minutes I have to recommend Jamie Vardy…
After I said to avoid him against Everton in GW32 when he had an xG of 0.00 he has completely turned it around in these last 2 games.

Over these last 2 games he is 1st for attackers when it comes to shots, big chances, shots on target and goals. It's clear that he is back to…
his great form and now they face the worst defense in the league at the moment. Even though Bournemouth kept a clean sheet against Spurs which skews the statistics, I still believe they are the worst defense in the league right now.

Captain material, plain and simple 🔥
đźš« Player to avoid: Christian Pulisic 7.3 vs SHU (A)

Another controversial pick this week with Pulisic who is a very popular pick among many FPL managers. Why do I think you should avoid him in GW35?

It's mainly because of Sheffield Utd's defense which has actually looked…
amazing lately and it has gone under the radar. Maybe because they haven't faced the best attacks in Wolves, Burnley and Spurs but having the best underlying defensive stats during those 3 games while missing O'Connell for large amount of those games is still very impressive…
When it comes to Pulisic attacking potential, I feel like he is a bit overhyped. I agree that he looks good in games with a lot of penalty area touches but when it comes to goal-scoring he has had 2 shots on target and 0 big chances over the last 3 games.

If he gets fouled…
and gets another assist that way then fair play but I wouldn't back him to score in this fixture...

Hopefully you have enjoyed this thread and that it made your Friday a little bit better. Good luck for GW35+ everybody!! 🍀👊
