the Government following up on a recommendation made by the civil service to allow the nations largest student association distribute funds to volunteers is NOT a scandal.

a progressive government then having connections to said organization (which promotes progressive values) is neither a surprise or a scandal.

there are almost no other organizations with the capacity nor resources to handle such a program in an efficient and effective manner.

the WE organization is not perfect, yes, but they have the connections necessary to reach youth who would benefit greatly from this program.

the Tories want nothing more than to argue that this somehow proves a pattern of corrupt behaviour when this government has been the most transparent in modern history and is being held to a impossible standard.

and you will have to forgive me for not listening to a lecture on ethics from a party that seeks to weaken equality protections, a women’s right to choose and let’s not forget this famous incident...
