So this defund the police thing...I just left a check welfare where two officers went to check the status of the ex-husband who wasn't doing well mentally. He started shooting as soon as they exited the patrol cars. Bad guy took 5 rounds. Cops none. Everyone survived.

Suffice it to say an unarmed social worker would not have been able to return rounds but would have instead soaked up several themselves.

Right about the time we hit our 3rd or 4th death of a social worker or medic things will change.

As we tended to his wounds on scene the shooter assured us he would not die. He was sent on a mission from god as an angel. These are the mentally unstable people that unarmed social workers will deal with. Hopefully they make better money than us.
