legit question: what does a good therapist do?

i have a new one (via phone) & he just let me talk the entire time & would occasionally state back what i said in different words

was nice to talk b/c pandemic isolation & loneliness but what should i look for in a therapist? lol
on that note, my new therapist office is waiving copays as all appointments are happening via phone/zoom, so i encourage y’all to check out if your local office is doing the same! super rad.
