A short thread :

Once upon a time, there was a priest in a temple. He got a goat as a gift from a family for their child's Annaprasanna ritual. The priest thought that he would use the goat for the milk & feed the boys playing in the playground near the temple with its (1/n)
milk. So, he decided to accompany the goat to the temple the next day. On the way, the priest met a vagabond, who told him : "Chi Chi Chi ! Panditji is taking an ugly dog to a Temple! Chi Chi Chi !". The priest was taken back & retorted angrily that he should get his eyes (2/n)
checked because it was a goat, not a street dog. After a few metres, he met another washerman who laughed hysterically at him. Confounded with the weird reaction, the priest asked the washerman to enlighten him on what is so funny. The washerman said, "Panditji, u r a (3/n)
scholar of repute. U r carrying this street dog to a Temple ? What has happened to u ?" The priest shooed him away, but the seeds of doubt were sown. Perplexed, he looked at the goat again & asked himself, "Is it a goat ? Yeah, but why everyone is saying it is a dog?".Still,(4/n)
he continued on the journey. On the steps leading to the temple, there was a beggar who burst into a histrionic fit of laughter. The priest, with his anger reaching the crescendo, yelled : "Enough is enough ! Yes, this goat is a dog. Happy ? Take it ! " The priest untied (5/n)
the goat & left it in the middle of the street. Hammered repeatedly by the 3 people on his way to the temple, his confidence was shaken. And the poor goat became the fulcrum of the Mutton biryani for the vagabond, the washerman & the beggar the same night !

I read this (6/n)
story from Panchatantra, when I was a kid. Why did I narrate this story ?

Because it is pertinent to today's onslaught by cultural marxists. Stand-up comedy started around 2011 or so, in the metros & in the post-Jio world, where internet penetrated every home in India, the(7/n)
reach of their content amplified. The creeping Hinduphobia didn't pour in 1 day, like the floods on opening the gates of a dam. It was a slow poison, creeping within our social ethos. First, they trivialised good etiquette aka "Sanskar" as something anachronistic with (8/n)
today's trends. As if being polite or following good etiquette is an act of heresy, inviting weird looks from the on-lookers in the crowd. Then, they attacked family, by proliferating the public's zeitgeist with the Western import of "Brown Desi Parents & their shenanigans".(9/n)
Today's generation has seen startups, private sector, private hospitals & 15-hr electricity, with subscription to Netflix & a cornucopia of OTT platforms. The "Desi" generation, which is mocked by the Woke Hydra of Scoopwhoop-Quint-Buzzfeed, grew up in the era of Govt jobs,(10/n)
single channel Doordarshan, Govt schools, Govt hospitals & 4 hr electricity, with dilapidated infrastructure, where only the patient could survive, while the impatient had to resort to crimes. The pasquinade of "Brown Desi parents" is rooted in racist hate of the White Man(11/n)
who was amused at the struggle of 1st generation Indian immigrants in the US who would work multiple jobs so that the kid can land up in the Ivy League after a perfect SAT score. And when today's stand up comedians monetise this gaudy portrayal of "Brown Desi culture", they(12/n)
are just lending a helping hand to the White Man's "burden" of civilising the "uncivilised" natives, or in simpler words, enforcing the colonialist's framework. And then the floodgates where a practising Hindu was forced to undergo the "scrutiny" of rationality &feasability(13/n)
in every festival she celebrates. She has to question "Why not Waterless Holi?", "Why not Noiseless Ganesh Chaturthi?", "Why not Crackerless Diwali?", "Why celebrate Navratri when we've high rates of crimes against women?" ... & the endless list of questions coming from (14/n)
the fountain of critical thinking of the public intellectuals ! If u take a projection of the mental stress a practising Hindu has to undergo, the obvious question should be : "Why is a Hindu breathing ? Can't that oxygen inhaled by the Hindu be used in burning the candle (15/n)
of a destitute in Mumbai's Nalasopara or Delhi's Seemapuri ?" And today, the vitriol has reached the zenith with stand-up comedians mocking our cultural icons, as evident from the video of that comedian(??) on Chattrapati Shivaji. Just like the priest who was pushed to the(16/n)
spiralling whirlpool of doubts, a practising Hindu , brought up in a family with festivals, humility, & basic etiquettes, is compelled to go through a blitzkreing of condescending assault on her foundational values, rendering her aloof in a well of endless abyss. (17/n)
I'll finally end my rant with the adage "You Don't Know What You Have Until It's Gone".The Native Americans are today fighting for recognition of their culture because they have faced the brunt of a cultural genocide; so did the Aboriginal tribes in New Zealand & Australia.(18/n)
Don't let a woke degenerate shred your confidence in your values.

It's time to say : "Enough is enough".

THE END ! (19/19)
