Post-modernism was an attempt to cancel Western grand narratives (i.e. the Bible, the Torah, the Magna Carta, the Constitution, Shakespeare, Locke, Hume, etc.) & attack the heart of civilization (i.e. the family, reason, & truth). It was very successful. @JackMaxey1

As SRC Hicks has noted, one of the major triggers for their first abandoning reason, & seeking to destroy the West & its institutions, was the fact that their dream had died. The #s came out of the USSR & elsewhere. Socialism had been shown to be murderous & altogether a failure.

Now the students of Marcuse, the terrorist Angela Davis, & the other pro-terror leftists who are presently brainwashing your children at university (e.g. AOC, Tlaib, Omar, Sanders), are attempting to create (as Tariq Ali suggested) cracks in the "empire".
They are now attempting to destroy humanity's best and last chance. Do they have anything to replace individualism & liberty with? Only collectivism & servitude. They replace God with the state; the family with the state; & make the state intolerant of variety.
Kuehnelt-Leddihn recognized that the right is characterized by variety & freedom; that the left is characterized by coercion, uniformity, conformity, & equality in slavery. Every leftist dream ends in nightmareâ âwith the guillotine, the gallows, gas chambers, and Gulags.
