thread of businesses in Central FL with employees who have tested positive for COVID-19:
The Porch in Winter Garden. 3 employees so far have tested positive. The Porch has yet to make a statement. The employees are currently quarantining
The numbers @ hunter’s creek ale house are growing every day. This is a testimonial from an employee about the restaurants lack of prevention and sanitization. This location needs to close until further notice. https://twitter.com/angxlj/status/1280700000884965377
Old Navy - The Loop location has 1 employee so far which tested positive. They are currently in quarantine
Walmart - Osceola pkwy & Michigan has SEVERAL employees who have tested positive. I can’t get a count, but I received 3 DM’s about this specific location. An employee tells me that management is encouraging everyone to “keep it quiet”
Walmart - St. Cloud (13th ST near Chic Fil A) has 4 employees who have tested positive.
Target- Hunter’s Creek has 3 employees who tested positive as of 6/30
Universal & Volcano Bay - several employees tested positive, some continued to work out of fear of losing their income. They have since removed all the chairs from the break room, forcing workers to eat standing up. photo comes from a guard who is tired of the working conditions
Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista - an employee has tested positive within the past 2 weeks. They are in quarantine currently
STK in Disney Springs - told by server “pretty much all” of staff & management tested positive. Instead of closing & deep cleaning the place, they remain open without implementing a better plan. No statement has been made to the public. Believed to have spread around the springs
*correction* CONFIRMED there are multiple business in Disney Springs with employees who are affected by COVID.
Back to Volcano Bay - I just received this. My heart breaks for employees who feel like they must work through this deadly virus to support their families. I urge anyone who tests positive to LET PEOPLE KNOW ASAP
Sonic in Poinciana - 2 confirmed cases. They remain open and have not made the public aware. I found out via a tweet
Pride & Envy Tattoos - 3 artists between both locations have confirmed positive results. The shop closed while the other artists were tested, and has opened back up to those who are negative. They have been very transparent on their Instagram and I applaud them for that!
IKEA - Mall of Millenia location has 1 confirmed case. Management will not tell employees which department the worker is from. They are currently in quarantine.
Amazon Warehouse - Boggy Creek Location. MULTIPLE CASES. If you’re gonna be ordering online, open your package OUTSIDE your house, with gloves on & sanitize your item if possible before using. It’s impossible to really predict which warehouse your shit is coming from. Better safe
Lexus of Orlando & Lexus of Winter Park - confirmed by an employee there’s at least 10 cases at the winter park location alone /:
DialAmerica Orlando - an office space with 6 confirmed cases so far. They have not put protective measures in place, and they have not reached out to other coworkers about taking precautions or getting tested. Terrible!
Jeremiah’s - bruh, cant even put a location on this one. it took 8 stores closing for them to shorten the hours. Employee tells me that when 1 store closes, workers get moved to another. Be weary of these “drive-up” businesses!! not immune just bc they don’t allow people inside!
More on Hunter’s Creek Target 🗣 disappointed but not even shocked.
UPS PACKAGE HUB (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Costco)
Walmart on 535 has 13 (THIRTEEN) confirmed cases & is still open for business.

okay nope- fuck @UniversalORL
I’ve been told that both Lazy Moon locations have several positive test results. They remain open
First Watches all overrr Orlando. Also, they’re not allowing workers to wear #BLM masks
Bahama Breeze - Loop location: several employees tested positive. Masks are not enforced in the kitchen đŸ€ź and they have not amped up their sanitization procedures since employees are getting sick. Those who are waiting on results are still working, and many calling out sick
They also told staff they don’t need to get tested if they aren’t experiencing symptoms. What??? Haven’t called to check on the condition of sick employees either
Super Target in downtown Orlando & Waterford Lakes Target have several confirmed cases. Masks weren’t enforced until the team numbers began to spike. Workers are picking up shifts across locations to compensate for all the LOAs, spreading this shit even further
Discovery Cove has at least 3 positive testing employees
ILKB (Ilovekickboxing) in Winter Park has had over 4 members and multiple instructors test positive for COVID-19 and they remain open now
Manager at Tijuana Flats in Avalon tester positive last week
Walgreens corporate at South Circle Park has 4 confirmed cases
Oviedo & corporate Starbucks
multiple people tested positive for Covid at hunt club apopka Gators, they only closed for one day
The owner of the Maki/Urban Hibachi chains had tested positive weeks ago and refused to shut down his locations despite being there almost all the time
Pepsi Orlando has 5 confirmed cases. They are not giving hazard pay, or giving PTO for workers who are waiting on test results.
Pepsi also refuses to tell workers which department the positive results are coming from
An employee at Cocina 214 has tested positive
Cheers sports bar in kississmee on polynesian isle has had the owner test positive, 2 employees and a few customers. Masks are not required and all of the workers and customers who tested positive still went into the bar while knowingly being positive.
Re: Lazy Moon & Bento winter park
Topgolf has had over 10 in the 7 weeks since reopening and they’re not telling the public
Aldi’s - Haines city & Auburndale. An employee tested positive, quarantined & came back. Management did not notify staff. A 2 person cleaning crew came in, sanitized touchable surfaces for 20 minutes and left. Nothing further has been done to prevent more cases
Orlando Lake Resort - an employee back in April at the front desk tested positive and unfortunately passed away. Another employee has tested positive, but nothing further has been communicated with the other staff besides asking for documentation of negative test results
Walmart- Casselberry. 8 employees have tested positive so far
