This is an #EditorAppreciation thread.

There’s lots of negativity out there, so let’s talk about the good stuff for a bit.

If you’ve had a great editor, name them here and say why they’re great!
When I started writing as a pro, I had dream editors all the way around, then had some bad experiences with a couple of not-so-great ones and hearing other friends have similar beefs made me very wary and sometimes unfair. I wished up, and have had nothing but great ones since.
First, two of the best out of the hundreds I have worked with, @BoricuaDesiree (Desiree Rodriguez), and @ShawnaGore at @lionforge. SEVEN DAYS was a massive project and they made it a thousand times better with tastes, support, ideas and hard work.

The BEST. Thank you!
She doesn’t have a twitter account anymore, I don’t think, but Molly Mahan was absolutely amazing at my Red Sonja editor and also over at Vertigo. I miss her, she was incredible. Humor, a great eye for story...just an awesome editor.
Also @sxbond was extraordinary while editing Clean Room, even though she sometimes had to edit the creepier stuff with hands over her eyes.

Best design sense, wonderful feeling of support, smart as hell. love you, Shelly!
Our editor on Domino was @chrisrobinson, who wrote me out of the blue after years of not having worked much at Marvel for what turned out to be one of the funnest and most joyful books I’ve been part of, and also assembled the best creative team. Come back, Chris! Miss you!
