There is no evidence that you, the individual, plays a role in facilitating or stopping virus spread. "Do your part" is a lie, a scam used to shift blame to citizens. You bear no burden. 8 months into pandemic mania, there's 0 evidence *ANY* human mitigation efforts stop virus.
The only stats we are seeing showing a difference in outcomes is when states put in place policies that accelerate spread and cause unnecessary harm. See: nursing home policies in NY, NJ, PA, etc. See: Lockdowns across the nation.
"We are all in this together" is the big lie. U aren't doing anything. You're not "doing your part." You're being bamboozled by incompetent politicians into thinking you can beat a virus. "Experts" still have no idea what's going on, & they're still panicked, many months later.
This rant inspired by my friendly neighbor who told me this morning that "if we keep social distancing and wearing masks, I think DC is going to beat this thing." Ppl have been taken for a ride. Most believe this. It's very sad. Contributes to climate of polarization & paranoia.
