This may be an unpopular opinion but I strongly believe that a Niqabi’s greatest enemy isn’t the non Muslims in this world, but from those in her own Ummah. The scary reality is she doesn’t even gain support or love from her own brothers & sisters for choosing to wear the veil
Our own people say “Niqab isn’t even fardh, why is she even wearing it, honestly I think it’s doing too much, that’s just a little extreme.” etc. and it angers me because you hypocrites who whine about iSlaMaPhObia don’t realize that YOU are the ones who light the fire for it.
May Allah give me strength to wear niqab one day but to know that those who are supposed to protect me and my sisters are the same ones who are isolating and slandering niqabis for choosing to follow in the steps of the greatest women in Islam, terrifies me
